Updated Message from Pastors Jim and Marise

Hello Grace Covenant Family!

I would like to share with you briefly what we have decided until further notice as we face the coronavirus. First of all, we need to remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind as the Bible says in 2 Timothy 1:7. We are not called to cower in fear, but to rise up strong realizing that God is for us and not against us as the Scriptures say in Romans 8:31.

At the same time, we recognize that the direction of our President is that meetings of 10 people or more be avoided including church meetings. Due to the fact that both our Sunday morning and Wednesday meetings would be exceeding that number, we are canceling them until further notice. We will be providing a Livestream service on Sunday at 8:30AM and Wednesday at 7:00 PM with only essential members present for doing so.

Celebrate Recovery and Warehouse youth are canceled until further notice as well.

We are exploring ways to multiply the number of our life groups in order to have them available for those who would like to meet in groups of 10 or less. If that becomes possible, we will let you know by Monday, March 23rd.

Our pastoral staff remains completely available for ministry. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us with whatever needs you may have.

We will also be using this time to enhance our ability to provide the cleanest and safest environment for our church that is possible.

God is in control and I believe that GCC will emerge stronger than ever before from the challenges of the immediate future.

We will be providing daily prayer direction through social media. This is definitely a time to focus on prayer, as we wait upon the Lord, He will renew our strength as it says in Scripture:

“Yet those who wait for the LORD will gain new strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary.”

Isaiah 40:31 NASB

This is the path of acquiring NEW strength, stronger than before! We will be connecting with you through our website, church app and social media platforms.

Join us on livestream Sundays and Wednesdays!
